Windows 10: Random windows apps opening at startup

Everytime when i launch my PC, some built-in windows apps open but hibernated green leaf at task manager, not sure how to call it.Only 4 apps open: groove music, your phone, calculator and photos.I had the problem from the start of using windows, and I have no idea what's the cause.

You could add entries to the registry to launch the apps on startup, but it's easier to just add them to the startup foler as Newt suggested.

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
