Windows 10: Random You don't have permission to access this folder

I'm using Windows 11. My PC is setup with 2 accounts: My main administrator account and a second I use as a gaming frontend.My issue is that when I'm on my main account I randomly lose access to the files stored in the gaming user directory with a prompt saying 'You don't have permission to access this folder'. It doesn't happen very often but it can get very frustrating. Usually the issue fixes itself within a couple of minutes to a couple of hours. Reseting the PC doesn't fix the issue.I'm not sure why whis happens and how to fix it.

Which folder are you trying to save to?

If you aren't using the true administrator there will be certainly places you can't save to, or even access unless you manually change the security permissions to allow yourself access.

To provide user/s an access to folders, see the steps below on how to do so:

• Right-click on the folder > Security.
• Under the Group or user names option, click on the username that you want to have an access to the folder; then, click on Edit.
• It will show you the page of permissions which you can allow or deny.
• Choose your desired permissions and click on OK.
