  1. Randomly BSOD'ing and Restarting

    Hello!

For the past few months, this issue has been making my life much harder. Usually, when I have leave my computer idle for ~40m then it will just shut down.

I have gone through every guide and disabled every power setting that could cause this.

Since then, I have analyzed my event log and pin pointed the issue to be: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000133 (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000501, 0x0000000000000500, 0xfffff80214771358). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 8970a2e1-22ec-409f-9b02-30ee7619a54b.

Using BlueScreenViewer has granted this information from my latest bluescreen:

    020921-59984-01.dmp 2/9/2021 12:14:37 PM 0x00000133 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000501 00000000`00000500 fffff802`14771358 hal.dll hal.dll+18f8 Hardware Abstraction Layer DLL Microsoft® Windows® Operating System Microsoft Corporation 10.0.18362.1171 (WinBuild.160101.0800) x64 ntoskrnl.exe+1c3b20 C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\020921-59984-01.dmp 8 15 18362 2,732,996 2/9/2021 12:26:49 PM

My latest dump is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dnbwDpmO7qvw5dHMCZ0iJE_3v5u6AsB6/view?usp=sharing

    Using WhoCrashed I get this:

On Tue 2/9/2021 12:14:37 PM your computer crashed or a problem was reportedcrash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\020921-59984-01.dmpThis was probably caused by the following module: intelppm.sys (intelppm+0x138f)Bugcheck code: 0x133 (0x0, 0x501, 0x500, 0xFFFFF80214771358)Error: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATIONfile path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\intelppm.sysproduct: Microsoft® Windows® Operating Systemcompany: Microsoft Corporationdescription: Processor Device DriverBug check description: The DPC watchdog detected a prolonged run time at an IRQL of DISPATCH_LEVEL or above. This could be caused by either a non-responding driver or non-responding hardware. This bug check can also occur because of overheated CPUs (thermal issue). The crash took place in a Microsoft module. The description of the module may give a hint about a non responding device in the system.

Looking at my other frequent bluescreens, I can see the main two iossues are "hal.dll" and "ntoskrnl.exe".

Right now I'm using an Alienware Aura r6.

    I'm not overclocking at all.

Using Hard Disk Sentinel I get this for my main ssd drive: https://i.imgur.com/BziAbme.png

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  3. PC Randomly Restarting after installing new Ram!

Tried your suggestions, but still had a restart! Also ran memtest overnight (13 hours according to memtest) and had no errors! Also ran Passmark Burn in test for a couple hours testing everything and had no errors or restart. Could fitting the new ram have triggered something to go bad like my mobo or psu?

    Randomly BSOD'ing and Restarting

    Random restarts

when you start the computer up press F8 repeatedly until you get a list of how to start windows, choose do not automatically restart on system failure. if your getting bsod's list what your getting here so we can further help you. IF the system is not getting bsod's and still restarting as you say then i would look into getting a line conditioner for your computer as you might be having power issues.
