Windows 10: Randomly crash with 2 sticks of RAM but run fine with 1 stick.

So as the title says, I randomly crash after on hour or so of uptime when I have both sticks of RAM in. Once it crashes, it will restart and crash again until I turn it off.

Things I have done
-Ran memtest86 with both sticks and got over a million errors before the test crashed on pass 4/4.
-Ran memtest with each individual stick and they both passed with 0 errors.
-Moved both sticks to the secondary slots of my mobo but still crashed.
-Made sure the mobo slots were working by switching a single stick around and running memtest.
-Updated bios and mobo chipset through asus website.
-Updated gpu drivers through geforce experience.
-Made sure every other driver was up to date through the device manager.
-Also tried setting up an xmp profile that made the RAM run at its timings and speed.
-Tried reinstalling windows

HP Compaq DC5800 Crashed while doing a "System Restore"

I don't know if this will help, but the memory I am running is 2 full sticks of DDR2 1 gb ram, with 2 half sized sticks of ram, same value as the full sticks.

 

Repeated BSOD crashes on Windows 10 - uncertain of cause

Quick follow up. I uninstalled the old driver and install the most recent driver. This didn't resolve the issue. I then ran Memtest, as you had suggested, which highlighted that one of my RAM sticks was faulty. I tested the sticks individually which
showed one was working fine and one was faulty. Removing the faulty RAM has meant that I no longer experience crashes and my PC is running like normal. Will be getting some new RAM but my PC seems to be able to run fine on just the one stick.

Check ASUS for BIOS updates.

Please run CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID, open it and make screenshots of the following tabs

What are the current XMP settings for the RAM in the BIOS?

 

XMP is currently set to disabled. I tried having it a profile 1 which changed a lot of bios settings from auto to the timings and speed that the ram should be running at but it still crashed.

 

Differently worded, what are the RAM settings.

 

RAM speed, timings, and voltage are all set to auto.

 

For the ease of testing, do you have another system or do you know someone who is willing to let you run MemTest86+ on his/her system.

 

I don't have another system but I might be able to find someone.

 

Found the problem. After removing 1 stick to use my computer and having tabs of chrome crashing, I decided to run memtest again on the single stick and I got back a lot of errors. I still swapped ram with a friend and his doesn't even show a display with the bad stick. I wonder how it got through memtest the first time I tested it. Anyway, thanks for the help.
