Windows 10: Rapidly connecting and disconnecting webcam

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my webcam (Logitech C270) that started this week. The cam rapidly connects and disconnects when used with Microsoft Teams (could be besides that too, that's when it's happening for me).

I checked every usb slot individually and they are not the cause of it. The webcam was tested in another pc as well in which it functioned without any problems. I didn't install anything new for at least a month. That basically narrows it down to windows 10 and I don't know how to solve it.

I need help for it urgently. I take open cam exams and that caused me to unplug and plug the cam at least 30 times the last exams, which took way to much time away and the distraction is really too much that I can't concentrate to my exams this way. Please, if anyone encountered anything similar or knows the solution I would be very happy.

Webcam disconnected

Hi,

My integrated webcam appears to be "disconnected".

The device manager lists it under "hidden devices" : USB2.0 1.3M UVC WebCam. The icon is light gray (not active).

Under device "properties" the status says The HW device is currently not connected to the PC (code 45). To correct this problem, reconnect the HW device to the computer. It is not just a driver issue, which is up to date.

How can I reconnect my webcam ?

Based on the description, I am assuming that you are facing difficulties in setting up the Hrayzan webcam on your PC.
In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed? (Type winver
  in Windows search/Run command)
• What is the make and model of the PC?
• Did you try to connect this webcam on different PC?
• Do you have another webcam that you can connect on this device?

Meanwhile we would suggest you to update driver
and check.

1. Connect the webcam
   
2. Press Windows + X key
   and select Device Manager from the context menu.
   
3. Spot and expand the “Universal Serial Bus controllers”.
   
4. Right click on the USB Composite Device driver and select
   “Update driver”
   
5. Select Search automatically for drivers. Follow the onscreen steps
   
6. Perform step 4 & 5 for
   Audio inputs and outputs & Camera drivers.
   
7. Restart the PC and check.

Let us know the results. If the issue persists, we will certainly assist you further.

Webcam had disappeared

Hi,

The webcam may have stopped working due to hardware failure, or a loose cable that connects it to the device’s motherboard. We suggest that you try to show hidden devices in
Device Manager by following these steps:

• Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
• Click on the View tab and select Show hidden devices.
  

If you are seeing the webcam drivers, uninstall them. Then restart your device to check if Windows will be able to recognize the webcam and will install the drivers.
