    Hi Sonyal,

To provide better assistance with deleting rasphone and TSWProxy.exe on your computer, we need the answers to the following questions:

    • Is your computer connected on a domain?
    • Are you trying to access a file through SharePoint?

    Regards.

  3. Timeout configuration when dialing rasphone

    Hi,

I am running a application that dials the rasphone when Windows starts up.

If there is no available connection, the rasphone takes quiet long to try and dial.

Is there a configuration in Windows to change the timeout period for dialing the rasphone?

    OS: Windows 7 & Windows 8

    Regards

    Jacques

    Rasphone.pbk

No " Prompt for username and password " option in windows 10 Dialup.

I know this is old, but just to let everyone know, I found a fix for this:

Open %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Network\Connections\Pbk\rasphone.pbk in a text editor, make a backup of it
    Find [YOURVPNNAME]
    Find PreviewUserPw=1 - Change it to PreviewUserPw=0
    Save the file

You can now use rasphone -d "YOURVPNNAME" without a prompt.

I can go to network connections and there they are, old school way in order. But if you click on one it takes...
