Windows 10: Raw .ARW files unsupported by windows 10?

I was completely unaware that this was an issue when I made the switch from Mac to Windows, big mistake. I just found out the RAW files are not supported by this new photo app with windows 10..


Is this issue being fixed?


If you have a trick on how to work around this (I tried downloading Sony RAW driver, since my camera is a Sony a7, but I have no idea what to do with it after I downloaded it)

  What exactly happen when you to try to view the ARW file?

  Which application are you using to view the ARW file?
  

The ARW file extension stands for "Sony Alpha Raw", and is therefore a Sony RAW Image file. To open an ARW file double-click on the file and let your PC decide which default application should open the file. The photos program that comes pre-installed
with Microsoft Windows is able to open ARW files. If no program opens the ARW file then you probably don't have an application installed that can view ARW files. You can also try installing third party software to view the ARW file.

Can not view arw file on Windows 10

The Sony RAW code will not work with Windows 10, Yes windows 10 will display the ARW and other Raw file formats but will not load it to other programs as it did with Windows 7. I use Nebulosity and Rspec on Windows 7 they will load sony raw files but on
Windows 10 they will not. Most people I know are moving to the Apple Mac for that reason, as yet there is no full support for camera Raw format with the Windows 10 OS.

 

Windows 10 Photo , having problem with displaying arw files.

I do know there is no need to download any codec pack for windows 10 in order to display sony Arw raw files. even dough I download the driver for sony Arw files from Sony support I can not see my raw files from windows photo I will attach a screenshot.
