    Here the fellas,

I think the tittle is pretty self explanatory so I'll try to be brief, I've got 2 HDD's one for the OS and one for the important stuff, during a boot problem it seems that the boot drive got messed up and I couldn't get into windows anymore, I reinstalled the OS but when I went to check my 1T drive with important stuff it was locked, I tried to get ownership of the drive unsuccesfully, In a moment of absolute desperation I used the diskpart command which make matters worst, used the chkdsk command but it didn't work, I said hell and tried to format the drive unsuccesfully, so here I am without ideas and with a drive full of important stuff I cannot access.

    Any help?

    Thanks.

    :)

    FAT32 for 1 T drive

Download, install and run MiniTool Partition Wizard Free Edition 9.1 Best Free Partition Manager for Windows | MiniTool Partition Free Delete all existing partitions on your 1TB drive. The full drive should show as unallocated.
Again right click on it and click on create. Choose FAT32 as File system > OK > Apply.

Note: All data in your drive will be lost when you delete and format the drive. So backup all data in the drive to another HDD. Make sure that you select the correct drive to delete and format.

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    Thanks again!!

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

I ran SeaTools. These are the results:

Raw drive, can't format, can't recover files, can't backup, Device I/O error. [IMG]

Does it mean my HDD is useless?
