  1. RC Controller with USB interface is being "kicked off" USB as an unrecognized device

    HI,

I recently started a hobby with RC Airplanes and I purchased a Flysky 16x controller/transmitter which comes with a usb cable to connect with a computer. I also purchased a simulator program called Clear View that allows the transmitter to control model aircraft as an RC trainer.

The first time I plugged my Flysky transmitter in to usb my computer recognized it- no problem- correct device name, listed as a Human Interface device and a usb device on the Device Manager. The Clear View software recognized it as well and allowed calibration and functioned perfectly in the program. When I was done I shut the program down and shut the transmitter off and pulled the connection. The next time I tried to connect it the computer refused to recognize it- says it malfunctioned and is not recognized. I tried again in a different usb port and it worked for a time and then was kicked off as unrecognized after about 10 minutes, I tried my third port and it worked briefly and then was kicked off.

When I try now most of the time it is unrecognized, but sometimes it is accepted and works fine for a period.

The device is powered by 4 AA batteries so i wonder if it is sending a power surge thru the usb port? Is this possible? Could it cause this behavior?

There are no Drivers for the device offered by the manufacturer and it was accepted by Win 10 and recognized initially with no driver- what is going on?

I hope you can help as I really enjoy my program!

    Thank you!

Unrecognized USB device (device descriptor request failed)

    Are you still around?

Sorry if none of that helped. I have tried pretty much everything else that has been suggested by others such as:

Uninstalling the unrecognized device and restarting

Uninstalling the USB drivers and restarting.

Trying every USB port on my computer.

Updating the drivers for every device

listed under universal serial his controllers in the device manager.

Please reply, I know there's got to be a way to fix this.

Pluscom USB to Parallel port interface

I have a cable Pluscom USB to Parallel port interface.

Win 10 recognize it only usb2.0 printer support and in system device I found unrecognized device.

Someone have a driver or solution??

I have to use it with an older portable printer (HP Deskjet340 - see other discussion for drivers!) and some control interface on parallel port

    Unrecognized USB device

    Hi Jane,

This issue may occur if your USB controllers may have become unstable or corrupt. If you're getting this error "USB Device not recognized: One of the devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it.", we suggest that
you perform the methods provided in this article. If the first method does
not fix the problem, proceed to the next.

Kindly update this thread with the results.
