    We run a remote desktop deployment on Windows 2022 server, to provide access to remote apps on our servers.We have had a number of reported issues which we can reproduce, which is that after a while, opening the rdp file that is downloaded from rdweb, whether in the browser download box or in Explorer, the rdp file no longer opens.This seems to happen after a user has closed all of their remote apps, but still has a connection in the 'RemoteApps and Desktop connections' taskbar tile.The only way we have been able to resolve this, is by closing the 'RemoteApps and Desktop connections' and 'Re

    opening .dds files with gimp

    Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

    I guess I am showing my age.

    In times past I was able to use RDP to remotely connect from my pc to a remote host pc - provided that remote pc was RDP enabled and the fire-wall was opened for the RDP port.

    These days it seems much more complex.

    Is there a step-by-step instruction sheet to follow? Or, better, is there an app/utility which configures the host more-or-less automatically?

    since this happens in some of the computers only, suggest that you open the file on working computer and copy everything and paste to a new powerpoint file.
    most of the time it works to me. *Smile .rdp files not opening :)
