Windows 10: RDP freezes when i try to copy/paste a document from my desktop to the RDP session

Hii have a strange behaviour on a lot of RDP sessionsScenario :Windows 11 updated, RDP client updated connected to a VDI server with a remoteApp that opens Explorer.exeOn windows 11 client i have some documents that i need to transfer on the remote session, some on my desktop and some on my Synchronized Onedrive files are downloaded locallyIf i select one file from my desktop or Onedrive, click the icon "copy" and then CTRL-V on the remote session, the remote session freezes and has to be manually terminated from our administratorif i select one file from my desktop , use CTR-C and the C

RDP Windows 10 1909 Keeps Freezing

I have a user who just got a laptop which is running windows version 2004 build 19041.572 and uses an RDP connection to his desktop which has OS Version 1909 build 18363.1082 (enterprise). He has been experiencing freezing from the RDP Session multiple
times. If he closed the RDP session and restarts it he can go back to using his desktop just where he left off. He started using his RDP on Friday, he experienced three freezes and today he has had Four freezes. What could be causing this issue? We have
multiple users accessing their desktops through RDP but he is the only one who is having these freeze issues? Any assistance would be helpful.

 

Copy and Paste not working RDP to a specific machine

Hi,

I have a desktop PC that I RDP to from a Windows 10 laptop and/or a Mac Book. I am unable to copy and paste to and from the desktop PC to either of the Client machines

I have confirmed and checked the following items;

Restarted all the machines

Clipboard option enabled on host machines in RDP Client on Windows and Mac.

Re-started the RDPclip.exe process

Enable Remote Desktop Clipboard Redirection on Client Computer in regedit - (see link below for details)

Enable Remote Desktop Clipboard Redirection on Remote Computer in regedit - (see link below for details)

FIX Remote Desktop Copy-Paste Not Working in Group Policy - Have also confirmed we do not have a group policy that is pushing any RDP related config.

I have used RDP to connect to the Windows laptop from another third machine and can confirm this works so the issue is with the Windows desktop, this is further supported by the fact that the Mac RDP client cant copy and paste.

I am stumped!

Copy Paste not working when using RDP

Hi guys,
I didn't know where to post so I'm posting in the general section. I've noticed one very weird behavior on my system in the past few weeks. I take RDP sessions of our office servers over VPN. Earlier my copy-paste functionality was working without any issues but the past couple of weeks I've notice that whenever my RDP app is open then I'm not allowed to copy-paste anything. It's like the copy-paste function stops working for as long as the RDP app is open. Once I close it, copy-paste starts working normally.

Has anybody else ever faced this kind of issue or is it just my buggy version of windows?
