  1. RDP Gateway Save Password

I have an RDP Gateway and an RDP Server set up at home. I connect to them through my work desktop and personal laptop while outside my network. On the desktop, the Gateway doesn't ask for a password (I saved it the first time I connected when it did ask me) but the Server asks for password (this is set by group policy, so I can't save credentials for this). However, on the laptop I can save credentials, it's a personal laptop. But the Gateway asks for credentials, and I see no way to save them. Is there anything I can do to not have to enter credentials at all when connecting?

    Computer are running:
RDP Gateway - Windows Server 2019 Standard
RDP Server - Windows 10 Professional
    Desktop - Windows 10 Enterprise
    Laptop - Windows 10 Home

  2. RDP via Windows 10 odd Password issue

This means that you previously instructed RDP to save your password and that the RDP host password got changed in the meantime.

  3. Always have to retype saved password for it to connect to the server with RDP

So I have a desktop with Windows 7 and a server with win server 2008r2.

I have remote desktop setup with the username and password to connect to the server. Everytime it says something like authentication failed or something similar with the saved password, but if I type in the
same password again, it works and connects.

I tried turning windows firewall off, changing the password, deleting the saved RDP icon and making a new one with the saved password, and a few other things. Any idea on how to fix this?

  4. RDP Gateway Save Password

Microsoft Account and Authentication during RDP

Hello, trying to RDP to my windows 10 (fall creators update) via RDP but the RDP client always fails with invalid credential.

    I have tried the combinations:

    • Microsoft account primary alias and Microsoft account password
    • Local username associated with my Microsoft account and Microsoft account password
Neither is accepted for sign in. I have Mobile sign in enabled on my account so I technically never entered my password here.
