Windows 10: RDP Session isn't showing all the contents of remote screen

My User is RDP'ing from a laptop with 1920x1080 screen resolution, into her desktop with 3840x1200 screen resolution. On her laptop, she can't see the entire contents of the remote desktop so she opens windows and they can be off screen. It used to be, when you'd connect from a smaller resolution, all windows would snap to the smaller screen. This is how I control my servers. But on her laptop, even though the RDP setting it to use Full Screen, it's leaving those windows outside of her view. What's worse is that she has 2 of these monitors on her Desktop. I've still had to log into her deskto

How to show the taskbar when in a full screen RDP session?

I have the same problem, and this works for me: Move the taskbar on the local machine, perhaps over to the right. Then move it back to the bottom. Now maximize the RDP session. When I do this, the taskbar on the full-screen RDP session shows up again.

 

Remote Desktop - Not showing lock screen when an RDP user is connected

Hello,

I have an employee that needs to RDP into their office desktop computer. They can do this fine currently.

However, my problem is that the office desktop (The endpoint computer) does not show the lock screen when the employee connects to their office desktop. The employee will be working within Quickbooks and does not want anyone that can see the screen to see
any information. It needs to be on the lock screen. From my testing, default behavior is to show the logon screen while the user is connected via RDP.

However, this particular office computer shows the login process and the whole remote session on the remote office monitor - so whoever walked into the office could see what is being done on the screen.

How can I fix to where when the employee connects via RDP, the office computer monitor shows the lock screen?

How to get the taskbar to show for some time when clicking on the connection bar in a RDP session?

Right now to show the taskbar I have to minimize the RDP session, which is kind of annoying.

The taskbar do show as I want it to, if I have two displays and click somewhere on the desktop on display 1 when having a full screen RDP running on display 2. Sadly this only work if the desktop is visible on display 1.
