    I recently purchased Visio Subscription via Plan 2. Apparently, in doing so I have now activated this Microsoft Defender service. As a result, I am unable to do work-based activities; namely launch RDP. This is a real problem and unsure who/where/how to get real support to fix this but it is something that needs to be addressed. I also am unable to lunch certain sites via Outlook. I requested a password to be reset, then send you the link via email and I open it up and poof MS Defender saying No. This is my belief that RDP no longer works as it worked before no issue, now it does not.I g

    I have a video wall with 10 screens and I am using windows 10 enterprise, I can't span an RDP session to another screen it seems to be locked to the main screen

    Server 2016 Essentials RDP session - no keyboard or mouse

    After installing the latest build 14393.rs1_release_inmarket.161014-1755 I'm having this problem.

    When reconnecting to a previously disconnected but running desktop session, after authentication I receive a black screen and shortly thereafter the session quits with the following error:

    "Failed to reconnect to your remote session.

    Please try to connect again."

    This behavior is the same with MS RDP client in both Windows 10 and Android MS RDP client version 4.2.

    If I connect from Linux the behavior is slightly different. Here I am able to connect to the session and see the desktop but I'm not able to get a response from keyboard or mouse. It's as if the session is not listening for input. The session remains
    alive (animations continue to update e.g. clock) until I disconnect.

    So far the only way I'm able to restore normal RDP session behavior is to reboot the server.

    "Access denied 0x80004005" issue - RDP session - Windows server 2016 - User logon time out

    I have scheduled a task running all the time on my Windows server 2016.

    Connecting through RDP, few functionalities require user to be logged on to the server to be processed but it seems user log offs after a time limit. After certain time limit, task was facing "Access denied 0x80004005"
    Error

    i have tried changing the following in RDP session host settings in group policy:

    • automatic re connection -> enabled
    • deny logoff of an administrator logged in to the console session -> enabled
    • configure keep alive connection interval -> 99999
    • session time limits -> disabled
    But they didnt help my task, still its facing "Access denied 0x80004005" Error
