Windows 10: RDP to a PC on local network while connected to an external network through VPN

I have been trying to figure out a simple way to accomplish this, and thought maybe someone else can help:I am connected to a local WiFi, where there is another PC on the network that I use RDP to connect to. However, for work I need to connect my work Laptop through my ' VPN.I can connect to the PC via RDP and then start my VPN. However, I wanted to find a simple way to directly connect to this PC, without disconnecting my VPN first.It is a work PC I am using, so I don't have admin rights. This means I cannot change the Host File or amend the routing table.Any suggestions that may make this w

Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

VPN networking capabilities?

I just discovered this a few days ago... set up a vpn with the server I manage in MD from here in BC Canada. First I set up a network share using the vpn server's ip, didn't know about that at first. Enabled sharing, now have access to the server's contents as a mapped network drive on my local. Next, enabled internet sharing on the server, I now can surf from the server's external ip in MD. Way faster than anything I've tried before. I'm still learning network stuff... what else could I do with this. And what security holes might I have to plug up on the server as a result? I look after this server for my boss, and I like to play... and learn.
