    Re-Activating Windows 10

    Hi,

I have been searching for a clear answer for a long time but still haven't found one that answers my question exactly, so here I am. I have two different questions, if you could help it would great!!

    1) I bought a new laptop running Windows 10 a few months ago, and I now want to change hard drives completely, meaning I am going to remove all drives in the computer, put in fresh ones with zero data, and then install a fresh copy of Windows 10 using a USB disk.

Therefore I will have to re-activate Windows 10 right?

How will I do this without a digital license key? I have read that Microsoft recognizes the computer and activates it automatically, but is this true even if I change all the drives? How does Microsoft know it is the same computer?

I am also trying to NOT make the drive images and copy their information onto my new drives, as I believe I might have some adware of some sort and a bunch of useless files I just don't want being brought back onto my brand new drives.

    2) I have linked my Microsoft account to this computer when activating it the first time. Now if I were to buy a brand new computer, and use the same Microsoft Account, can I just activate it as well without worrying about all the other windows activations I did in the past? Does Microsoft keep count of all the Windows licences I have under my Microsoft Account and make sure I can re-activate them individually?

Thank you all in advance for your help!!

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 10 NOW - Upgrade and ISO direct from microsoft

Click to expand... Yeah I went to that site, why do I need to buy a key?
    I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
    is that causing the problem?

DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 10 NOW - Upgrade and ISO direct from microsoft

this search might help you https://www.google.com.au/webhp?sou...o+to+get+it+activated+windows+10+blocked+keys

    From http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/why-activate-windows-10

If you upgraded to Windows 10 for free and ended up in a non-activated state, try following these steps:

    • Go to Start
      Re-Activating Windows 10 [IMG]
, then select Settings > Update & security > Activation.
    • Select Go to Store, and check to see if a valid license is available for your device. If a license isn't available, you'll need to buy Windows from the Store.

      Note
      • This only applies if you haven't made changes to the hardware for your device.

or you could hack it with a crack but please note this is always risky and you don't know what's in the hack
