  1. Re-activating Windows After it Deactivated Itself Immediately After Hardware Upgrade

I'm completely and utterly sick of this.I've spent 12 hours on the phone today trying to get help from Microsoft.Yes my key is legitimate, I bought it in a shop from the largest retailer in the country - and no, that should not be any of their business. No, the activation trouble-shooter doesn't help because it refuses it for the exact same reason.Hardware change, deactivated - please buy another genuine copy of Windows.0xC004F211 :: slui 0x21 0xC004F211 -> "The Software Licensing Service reported that the hardware of the device may have changed. 2. Windows 10 Upgrade + Clean install Activates then Deactivates

    Ye old Error code: 0xC004C003

I made sure 8.1 Pro to the upgrade to 10 Pro was activated before I did a clean install. This last month the system has been acting weird. Once in windows its fine, but I was getting startup errors that made windows restart while starting dealing with HD audio. Not sure if the realtek or Nvidia.

Anyhow during all this and now my system had been activated, then deactivated, then activated. Etc. Etc. Etc. I think its finally settled on deactivated.

No hardware changes in all this other than driver and windows updates. So yea.. nothing on Google search nor here mentions this exact problem. Again, I need to point out it was activated with the upgrade first from 8.1 to 10. It also showed activated in 10 for awhile.

The system should only deactivate if new base hardware was installed which this isn't the case.

    Hello @walleyeblugil

    1. Published lists that could be sorted by build number likely are non-existent. Without devoting more time, it would be best if you quote the entire version number in a reply.
    2. If you have an unexpired or lifetime license, a clean install seems indicated if you wish to upgrade to Malwarebytes for Windows. (MB4)
If you wish to upgrade immediately, and your computer meets hardware/software minimums, then:

    1. Please first make a safe/written record of the older product's valid Malwarebytes license Key/ID.
    2. Deactivate the activated license.
    3. Sequentially follow the steps in the following document:
    https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-2674

    Then activate to premium:

Re-activating Windows After it Deactivated Itself Immediately After Hardware Upgrade

    Windows deactivated after hardware upgrade.

I recently upgraded my CPU and Motherboard, and now my copy of Windows 10 Pro is no longer activated. I already followed the steps on here, Reactivating Windows after a hardware change - Microsoft Support.

None of the steps seemed to work, as I'm still getting error code 0xC004C003 and the troubleshooter is failing. I do not have a product key code, as this PC had windows 8.1 pre-installed and then I did the free upgrade.
