    Re-install Win 10 after reset to factory settings which was Win 8.1


    My old Dell All in one PC recently crashed and after multiples different failed attempts, I did a factory reset. Lost everything, but able to use PC. The PC is no longer under Dell warranty & it is now back to Win 8.1. Can I get Win 10 back on this PC for free? It is the same everything just factory reset. It was all licensed and activated before the crash, which I still do not know what caused the crash.

    update from win 8 to win 10 after factory reset

    Hi,

    I have updated my computer from win 8 to win 10 before June 2016. Today when I have done the factory reset, the pc started on win 8 instead of win 10. Now please let me know how do I upgrade myself to win 10.

    Win 10 boots...

    I can't answer to the speed of Win-8 booting. I tried the Win-8 preview and went back to Win-7 after a month. They say that Win-8.1 is a lot better than Win-8 was.
    My Win-10 TP is working well ATM.

    Fresh Install of Win 10 without Serial Key?

    Looking to reformat a laptops HDD, and then reinstall Win 10 fresh. The problem is it came pre-installed with Win 8 and I did the free upgrade to Win 10. How exactly would I re-format the HDD, reinstall Win 10 and ensure it reactivates properly? I don't see a Win 8 serial key anywhere in the contents of the box.
