Windows 10: Re-installed windows with wrong Windows account.

Greetings All.


About 6 weeks back, I had a failure of some sort where, during initial boot, while at the Windows logo screen with the circling dots, I receive the following message....

"Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you."

And includes the following additional information....,

"If you would like to know more, you can search online later for this error: 0xc0000142".

I think this started after a Microsoft update.

The computer was originally a Windows 8.0 system, upgraded to Windows 8.1, then finally upgraded to Windows 10 (I think in 2015) during the free upgrade program. The computer had been running great until the recent Windows update (approximately 6 weeks back).


I have since been able to re-install windows using the Microsoft "MediaCreationTool1809".


However....

Microsoft now cannot find the activation key. I think I re-installed Windows 10 with the wrong Microsoft account (my wife's instead of mine)




Remember, the computer was originally a Windows 8.0 system, upgraded to Windows 8.1, then finally upgraded to Windows 10 (I think in 2015) during the free upgrade program, so I no longer have the original activation key.


Any suggestions in regards to re-activating my Windows 10?

Is there a way to change the account to which Windows 10 is assigned?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Installing Windows 10 using Windows 7 key

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.

 

Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.
