Windows 10: RE Java update again!

Hello

Call me paranoid but I still have trouble trusting this/these updates! This one appeared when I tried downloading a video from you tube in the browser. The screen closed and an allow app to make changes to the hard drive on this device appeared. The thing that caught my eye was the fact that the message was in yellow with 'unknown publisher' warning. Usually a message of that kind appears blue with the 'verified publisher' message. Could anyone with experience verify the update? I know the updates are essential although I wish they were not. This is the third version of message / 'pop up' appearance. Another quick cheeky question is that will there be anymore major updates that what to my mind clean out the hard drive, by sorting through and deleting out of date main frame updates? I think that is what the last large up date did any way? I sometimes think of deleting some myself but I would be to worried I would delete one that is still vital! I have deleted some main frame updates on PC's in the past and it did not seem to cause any problems but I am no expert. I thank you for your time Best Regards

Java auto update problem


I do not have Java installed in my computer.
I googled this one for you. Hope it helps a little.

Change Automatic Update Settings

• Find and launch the Java Control Panel
• Click the Update tab to access the settings.
• To enable Java Update to automatically check for updates, select the Check for Updates Automatically check box.

  Safe Mode with Networking.

Internet explorer & java
