Windows 10: Re-login or Device not recognized on several websites

Since mid-September 2020, several apps and websites are consistently requiring me to re-login. For example:

• Chrome - After opening, the sync goes to "Paused" and requires a re-login
• Facebook - If Chrome had to be re-opened, then Facebook requires a re-login, a second-authorization code texted to me, and a radio button to "Remember this browser" -- which it obviously doesn't
• PayPal - The PayPal system sends a security alert email: "...new login with your PayPal account associated with [my email] from a device we don't recognize." I've been using this device for three years.
• Microsoft OneDrive - The account loses its sync and requires re-login.
• Microsoft 365 - Apps like Word and Excel regularly show the warning that I am not logged in, therefore requiring a re-login.

I even attempted to change default browsers, but the new one would not import any of the information from Chrome -- because it wouldn't sync. So, I abandoned that idea.


There is clearly some kind of underlying primordial issue related to all of these, and it needs to be corrected.

OSK PIN login on non-touch device

Hello,

I suggest you to create a PIN for your device and try the on screen keyboard to login to the same.

You may follow the steps below to create PIN protection for your device.

• 
  Go to Settings and select account.
  
• 
  Click on sign in option and Go to PIN option.
  
• 
  Now click on Add and set PIN for login.
  

You can use the same PIN to login to your device using the on screen Keyboard from ease of access option and verify the result.

USB device not recognized spam

You may receive this error if one of your USB connected devices is not properly recognized by the system. Let's try the troubleshooting steps provided by

thread.

In addition, we suggest that you turn off the notifications from the USB by following these steps:

• Open Settings by typing "settings" in Cortana's search box.
• Click on Devices.
• Locate USB and toggle the switch to Off.

Some USB Devices not recognized in Windows 10

Hi have Windows 10 Pro insider preview 10532 64bit Pro Intel i7 desktop PC.

I have multiple USB devices connected, USB 3 & 2. The USB HDD is working however my Samsung phone and kindle are no longer being recognized. The steps followed so far:

• Uninstalled all USB devices in device manager including controllers
• Flashed BIOS to latest version
• Updated USB drivers for the devices from manufacturers sites
• Tried new USB cables

Please note: both devices are recognized by my Windows 10 Lenovo laptop.

I really don't want to fresh install, please suggest any diagnostics I can try.
