Windows 10: RE: MS OS 11, Why were efficient, reliable functions removed from File Explorer?

Hello:This is not a complaint; just an observation of new Win OS 11 changes that now affect all of us vs. prior Windows OS versions.I've used Windows File Explorer since Windows began. For decades, once the mouse was implemented into Windows OS, all users have been accustomed to being able to right-click to do many handy tasks, such as copy, paste, rename folders or files. Now when we right-click, we are forced to go to "Other Options." I am used to being able to complete huge amounts of work all day, accurately. While I realize there are now icons at the top, but that also requires extra

Windows 11 File Explorer functionality

I am very disappointed with the lack of functionality with File Explorer with the new Windows 11. I use File Explorer for the purpose of exploring and sorting of files and folders and this is now no where as functional as for Window10 or earlier versions. I hope you reconsider your removal of the essential features. For this reason alone I will not be upgrading my desktop - I upgraded my laptop to 'test' and so far, not so good.

 

Cannot Remove File From File Explorers Recent Files List

I'm using Windows 10 and have always been able to remove files from the file explorer's recent files list. The file is listed as FileProvider and it is located in the ThisPC/downloads directory. Any other file is readily deleted from the list by the usual
procedure. This file is not. Any suggestions?
