pc ran into a problem and needs to restart - says that windows is collecting error info and will restart for us 100% complete - what do I do - been like this for hours

My Windows 10 laptop starts restarting saying that your pc ran into a problem. We're collecting some  error info and then we'll restart.

My Windows 10 laptop starts restarting saying that "your pc ran into a problem. We're collecting some error info and then we'll restart." Windows updates recently downloaded without opt out. Can anyone help please.
