    Re-play of MS Games purchased in the past


    Why can't I play MS games I've paid for in the past? When I try, the game requires me to unlock and restore the purchase. Then it tells me there is no record of any purchase when I know I have paid for it, and the game itself indicates "I own this game."

    There are several reasons why you're encountering issues in playing games you've previously downloaded. One of these is when the account that owns the license of the game, is not signed in to the console. Kindly provide us the following information for us
    to determine the root cause:

    • Are you using the Microsoft account you've used to purchase the game?
    • Are you trying to access the game online or offline?

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools.
    • Select Internet Options and go to Advanced
      tab
    • Uncheck Do not save encrypted pages to disk and click
      OK.
    • Now check if you are able to make the purchase.
