    Hi, anyone familiar with Recuva software app? Was scanning for deleted files in Recycle bin - Whilst running I got a box up with a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside it; saying" failed to scan the following drives \\\HarddiskVolume2 Unable to determine file system type". Can anyone enlighten me. Thanks.

    Invalid Image after recovering through Recuva

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Community.

    I would like to inform that the images that you have recovered with the help of the third party software Recuva might be corrupted or broken thus displaying the error message stated above.

    We do not support apps that are not developed or under the breach of Microsoft, hence I would suggest that you contact Recuva support for further queries.

    Unless you've done a bunch of writes to the drive. But that is a good first step anyway.
