Windows 10: Re: Transferring windows 11 pro to my next laptop?

I bought a new laptop a week ago. I do not like it.I downloaded windows 11 pro for $99 from the microsoft store. How can I be sure I can transfer this to my new laptop when I buy it. I'm going to delete from this computer before I return it. Thank you

Windows 11 Home to Pro upgrade

Want to upgrade 11 Home to 11 Pro. Tried download, but apparently files transferred were for 11 Enterprise. This will not activate; error is "invalid digital license or product key". This is on a new Surface. How to proceed?

Can withdraw/delete this. The suggestion to downgrade - listed below - with a 'fake' windows 10 key works.

 

Transfer Windows 10 Pro to Another Laptop with 11 Home

I need to purchase a new laptop and transfer everything over. Current laptop was 10 Home which I paid to upgrade to 10 Pro. I know that if I purchase a new laptop with 10 Home, I can move the Pro license key over. My question is whether you can move the Pro license key from v10 to 11 Home? I don't know if the license key stays the same when you upgrade from v10 to 11. If it does, then I assume the answer to my question is yes.

If I can't then I'll buy a 10 Home laptop, transfer the Pro license and then upgrade to 11 when it becomes available. If I can, then I'll have an additional option of buying an 11 Home laptop.

My laptop running windows 11 pro recently failed spectacularly leaving it unrecoverale.

I have bought a new laptop now and would like to transfer the 11 pro license to the new one. As the old PC in not recoverable (so i cant deactivate it directly), How can I transfer the license.

My new laptop is a lenovo ideapad 16 pro with 16gb ram, GTX graphics and Ryzen 7 processor
