System: Dell Vostro 5581 with Windows 10 previously. Previous Windows 10 files have not been deletedRe: windows11, newly installed, takes 90 minutes to start up only showing a black screen + cursor or black screen + time + airplane.after startup- no performance issues.Help would be appreciated

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

 

Black Screen for A Few Minutes After Login

First of all, thanks in advanced for your help. I've been having this issue for quite a while and it's still happening.

Every time after I log in (password screen), the screen only displays black screen for a few minutes before the background and everything shows up. During the black screen, I can press the windows key on my keyboard and the taskbar appear.

I tried disabling App Readiness service but the issue still persists. The issue disappear if I reboot using safe mode.

Are there any steps to troubleshoot the issue?

 

NEWLY added apps are not showing on Start App list

1. Is Cortana able to search the apps installed?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if that helps.

• Type Start Settings in Search and hit
  Enter.
• Turn on Show recently added apps in jump list of Start of Taskbar.
