    Hello everyone,I recently attempted to install Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD from a source I found on Internet Archive. After mounting the installer and beginning setup, Windows Security popped up a high-level threat warning.Here’s what happened:Threat Detected:HackTool:Win32/Crack.MSR — QuarantinedAffected item: steam_api.dll located in C:\Program Files x86\MR DJ\Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD\bin32\After that, I scanned my system with Malwarebytes, which detected 4 additional threats:All marked as PUP.WebCompanionThese were also quarantined successfullyThese seem to have been bundled with the i

    PUP Threats Detected By Malwarebytes


    Check your list of installed programs and remove any toolbars. Run MBAM again, including rootkit detection, and do a full scan of all your hard drives, not just a Threat scan. Then, reset your Chrome browser.

    Windows Defender is missing Restore Button for Quarantined Threats

    It wasn't listed under "Quarantined Threats", but was listed in "See full history" as quarantined. It has been about 2 hours
    and now it is listed under "Quarantined Threats" which now shows the Restore or Delete options. Something must be causing
    a delay in listing the quarantined file under "Quarantined Threats" after they have been found and quarantined by Defender.

    Unable to remove or quarantine Virus Threat

    Ran a virus scan with defend and 3 threats were detected, however when I went to have them removed nothing happened, tried to quarantine them and again nothing happened any suggestions on how to eliminate these threats. The threats are PUA:Win32/SweetIM
    PUA:Win32/Visicom and PUA:Win32/AskToolbar
