  1. Reactivating W10 after hardware change

Have been over various articles for the last ~3 hours, among other things, little of which is helpful, most of which results in going in circles looking for something you've missed.
As a result, I'm likely more than a little aggravated and passive-aggressive. Iwould apologise in advance, but I'd be lying, and feel it's quite warranted at this point.

Replaced hardware recently, moved HDD's and SSD's over I'm aware of the potential instability/driver issues.
Have previously changed hardware at least once before. Was originally on a W7 Pro Retail license, 'upgraded' to W10 Pro, obviously at some point, first hardware change occurred some time after that, and I'd noticed the "activated with a digital license" change in licensing method.

Now, with this recent hardware change, something else has clearly changed, as now it's failed to activate.

    Hmm.
Troubleshooting the activation issue, and selecting "I've changed hardware on this device recently":

Since, I'm rather privacy-conscious, I've never linked my MS account to it until recently and the fact that it shows my PC's HDD/SSD with the "bitlocker data protection" section, including the drive names and free/used size, is precisely the kind of reason behind that decision, but that's a whole 'nother argument.

Found my way to using Command Prompt/Powershell and 'slmgr /dli':

    Do note the 'RETAIL channel'.

    That 'notification reason', being:

Which implies I need to go find wherever the original W7 disc and key has been buried in the last few years thankfully I made sure never to dump it entirely, but god only knowswhere it is.

So, am I SoL unless I go dig that up, or buy another W10 Pro key?

And side note, Why on earth are your only troubleshooting options:"Knowledge-Base Articles"
    Use virtual agent
    Use virtual agent's app
    Phone call
    Community Forum posting

If you're averse to phone calls for any reason, or aren't finding relevant articles/answers/forum posts, what the hell else are you gunna do?
Don't see why you've no option for either email-response, and/or ticketing system to handle aforementioned email responses.

    :)

  3. windows 10 reactivation after hardware change

I just changed motherboards, and When I follow the the steps listed in the "reactivate windows 10 after hardware change" support page, it gives me the message "unable to activate windows" message after I sign in and identify my device,
with no error code, just a subheader that says "can't activate windows 10 on this device, try again later."

Windows 10 won't reactivate after a hardware change

I changed a lot of the hardware on my device recently, however I followed the steps on the Microsoft support page to get my computer ready for the hardware change so that I could reactivate Windows 10 after I changed the hardware. However, now it won't reactivate,
and has the error code 0xC004F025, and when I try to troubleshoot it says "We can't reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later."

My Windows 10 was a free upgrade from Windows 7.
