Reactivating Windows Education after hardware change

    Hi,

I have a free Windows 10 Education digital license, but it apparently was not linked to my school account. I just change my computer so it is definitely a hardware change. I am now stuck with a basic edition, and I cannot use the Education digital license. I tried to use the troubleshooter to link the license https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/reactivating-windows-10-after-a-hardware-change-2c0e962a-f04c-145b-6ead-fb3fc72b6665, but I simply do not have a troubleshooting option. Is there another way to retrieve and upgrade to my Education license? Thanks!

    :)

  3. windows 10 reactivation after hardware change

I just changed motherboards, and When I follow the the steps listed in the "reactivate windows 10 after hardware change" support page, it gives me the message "unable to activate windows" message after I sign in and identify my device,
with no error code, just a subheader that says "can't activate windows 10 on this device, try again later."

Reactivating Windows 10 Education after hardware Change

Hello I am trying to reactivate my windows 10 education version after I upgraded my motherboard. Everything was working fine before I switched but now I can't seem to get it reactivated. I have tried all the troubleshooting tips and tricks to get it working
but nothing seems to work? Do I need to go through my school to get this fixed or does someone have any other suggestions that I can do. Already did the troubleshooting and picking the previous device and talked on the automated phone setup but nothing has
    helped.

    Thank You k
