Windows 10: Reactivating Windows on OEM Licensed Device?

Hello, I wanted to ask about this activation problem that kinda confuses me. So, I had ROG Strix G531GT with OEM licensed Windows 10 Home. After that, I bought Windows 10 Pro license from retail, obviously, activated it, and it said that the digital license is linked into my Microsoft Account.And then, something quite bad happened to my notebook. The screen got a quite bad glitch some of my techie friend thought that it's a GPU artifacting, so I bring mine to the local service center. And you know the risk -- they'll reinstall everything, back into the factory state. And since it's a facto

As you've OEM license, and if you reinstall Windows without changing any hardware, your Windows should be automatically activated.

Windows can be a little "odd" about license keys. There are at least 4 categories:

• Retail
• OEM
• Volume (electronic download)
• Corporate (no key needed)

For guaranteed success, the license key and media should be in the same category. If you have retail media, you may not be able to install it using an OEM or Volume license key, even though the key is valid for that version of Windows. *Wtf :wtf: Apparently, this is part of Microsoft's anti-piracy scheme (i.e., all customers are guilty until proven innocent).
