Windows 10: Read And Write Speed Drop / Performance Drop After Windows 11 23h2 Update

Hi.I have an Acer Aspire e5-473. and for all of its lifetime up until late October, the laptop has run most games that I play completely fine, clocking over 100-150 FPS in games like Minecraft Java, Bedrock Edition, and Roblox running at low graph settings. and about 200 - 400 FPS.After I had updated to the Windows 23H2 update. I have been noticing that the FPS drops when I was playing Minecraft. Dropped 5% 100 - 200 . I keep asking myself why Windows 11 23h

Slow HDD read and write speeds

We will require a few more information from you to help you further with the issue. Please reply with the following details:

• In which device are you facing this issue?
  
• Are you using an external HDD or internal HDD?
  
• Are you getting the read and write speed issue on any particular application?
  

However, you can Disk Defragment on your computer to optimize the drive. To run Disk Defragment please follow the steps from the article

Defragment your Windows 10 PC.

Alternatively, you can check for the read and write speed of the HDD in task manager. Please follow the steps mentioned below to check the read and write speed of the hard drive:

1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc key together on the keyboard.
   
2. Click on Performance tab.
   
3. Click on Disk 0.
   
4. You will find the Read speed and
   Write speed at the bottom of the window.

SSD/USB3.0 Speed Drop

When transferring files from my external SSD/USB3.0 to my PC, the speed drops from around 300MB/s to 105MB/s.
It stays at 300MB/s almost 60% of the transfer, then it Drops.

What to do so that there is no Drop?

EDIT: Disabling the "Write Cache" for HDD in PC, the speed drops to around 45MB/s, instead of 105MB/s.
