    Read Smart Card from Hyper-V Guest


    We are using Windows 10 as a Hyper-V guest, and have Windows 10 as a Hyper-V Guest. There is a standard Smart Card reader attached to the physical hostomnikey card reader , but we can not get the smart card to be read from the Hyper-V Guest.Does anybody have any experience or success with such a configuration?We have updated driver on both host and guest, still can not get the smart card to be read from the guest.

    Hyper-V Automatically being shut down randomly by the guest operating system

    Hi, lenfant3 follow these steps

    1. In Hyper-V Manager, choose the VM and then "Settings". Click on the Integration Services option and ensure “Operating System Shutdown” is enabled.
    2. Choose "Automatic Stop Action" option under Management.
    3. Choose "Shut down the guest operating system".
