Windows 10: Reader PCSC driver error

each time I start the computer there's message "reader PCSC Driver Error! You must reinstall reader driver" . It also shows up when I open a new program. how to fix this?

PCSC don't return any result

I'm developing a smartcard readers and i use the windows driver "WudfUsbccidDrv.dll"

I test the machine on an updated windows 7 and 10 (both 64 bit)

The level of transmission between PC and Reader is "Short APDU"

When i send T=0 apdu it work well but when i send an T=1 apdu sometimes PCSC return an empty array

There is no error in event viewer

This ^^^^^^^^^RAPDU is not available in PCSC

Next T=1 apdu works but the card just send status words

Edit : I tested, RAPDU bigger than 3 bytes it make PCSC return an empty array of data but no error is returned

So i can only return one data and the status word(2byte)

Edit 2: I tryed with TPDU level exchange but the WudfUsbccidDrv driver reject the RAPDU with this error

Invalid data.

Problem with card readers after mirgration to Win10

I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + X and select Control Panel.

2. Change View by from Category to Small Icons/Large Icons.

3. Click on Troubleshooting.

4. Select Hardware and Devices and follow the on-screen instructions.

Method 2: Update Card reader driver

Follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• Search for your card reader driver.
• Right-click on the Card reader driver and select
  Update Driver Software.
• Restart your system

Method 3: Uninstall and then re-install Card reader driver

Follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• Search for your card reader driver.
• Right-click on the Card reader driver
  and select Uninstall.
• Restart your system.
• Let you system scan for new hardware and install relevant driver for your card reader.

Bluetooth driver error 10 when converted to Windows 10

Apologies for the late reply.

Error code 10 is a driver error, as you have already tried to install the drivers I would suggest you to un-install and re-install drivers and check.



Try the following steps:


Follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Right on the start icon and click on device manager
  
• 
  Select Bluetooth adapter, right click on it and click on un-install.
  
• 
  Restart the computer,
  
• 
  Now, install the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.
