Windows 10: Reading disks from a Sony Mavica camera with Windows 11

I have an old Sony FD75 camera that writes pictures onto floppy disks. I know it's obsolete, but I would like to use it anyway.I have a brand new external USB floppy drive connected to my computer running Windows 11. The camera works. I can put a disk in it, format it, and take pictures. But when I insert the disk into the USB drive, Windows won't read it. It says "The request is not supported". If I instead format the disk with Windows, then the camera won't recognize it "Disk Error" but it does work with Windows in the sense that I can copy small files onto and off of it.When I formatted t

Suggest that you download & install the apps from the Sony website, I realise you did require them before but I think it will be better for handling your photos taken with your Sony cameras with W10:

Why can't Windows 10 read .bnp files from Sony camera.

I have a new Sony A7III camera that uses the file format of .BNP on movie files and .ARW on camera raw files.

Why can't Windows read these files or make a conversion for them. Sony has been around for a long time. It is really inconvenient to have to use some third party app to convert these to a file format that Windows can read. What's Up!
