Windows 10: Reading Pane will not show up in Mail and Calendar for Windows 10

The Reading Pane won't show up. When I click on an email, it opens up as a full window, and i have to close it to see the Message List again.There is no setup in the Reading Pane section to indicate that you can turn it on/off:I tried all the combinations of settings in this setup, but the Reading Pane won't show up.

Reading Pane in Mail

When I left click on it my reading pane turns off.
I can also shrink mail APP from right side so it just shows list of messages without reading pane.

My Name is Paul one of the Community Advisor and a Windows User like you and I will going to help you how to disable your Windows Mail Reading Pane or Preview Pane.

Steps:

* Open Windows Mail.

* In the Lower left clear the GEAR ICON for SETTINGS.

* Click READING

* In the Conversation section, click the “Show preview text” slider button so it turns light gray and reads Off.

* Now, you won’t see the first line of text on every email in the list.

Windows 10 Mail - hiding the reading pane

Hiding or turning off the reading pane in Windows 10 Mail app is not possible. You can submit a suggestion or feedback about having this feature. Click the Gear icon in Mail app to open Settings > Feedback.
