  1. Real GPU selection.

In windows 10 I have two GPUs. I want to manually select which one is used for what app. Here is the problem though. Windows by itself decides that the very same GPU is both most performant and most power efficient. So the option to pick GPU in display > graphics settings is worthless because I get both options as the very same GPU.How do I actually change which GPU is the power efficient one and which one is the performance one? Please tell me this isn't the case of astronomical incompetence and zero understanding of power users by removing the option to actually pick GPU?

    :)

  3. Any way to change in register which GPU is used for Energy saving?

    Hi SweetArkhane,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Yes, you can change the default GPU used for energy-saving in Windows by following these steps:

    1. Open the Windows search bar and type "Graphics Settings" and select the option that appears.
    2. In the Graphics Settings window, click on the "Browse" button under the "Select an app to set preference" section and locate the program or application you want to set a GPU preference for.
    3. Once you have selected the app, click on the "Options" button and then select "Power Saving" from the drop-down menu.
    4. Click on the "Save" button to apply the changes.
To change the default GPU for all apps, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open the Windows search bar and type "Device Manager" and select the option that appears.
    2. Expand the "Display adapters" section and right-click on the GPU you want to set as the default and select "Properties".
    3. In the Properties window, click on the "Driver" tab and then click on the "Disable" button to disable the GPU.
    4. Click on the "Yes" button when prompted to confirm the action.
    5. Once the GPU is disabled, repeat the same steps for the other GPU, but instead select "Enable" to enable it.
If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
