  1. Real Time Audio Monitoring without latency in W11 - loss of control available in W10 to...

Like many I have noticed who have in the past been able to make and record music using various software tools eg Reason, Magix and the like, it has been possible to allow for simultaneous, latency free, monitoring of line-in recording eg when playing or singing along to music already recorded. Which also enabled microphone input via line in to work, again latency free, fo Zoom and telephony calls. This is no longer the case.It was not obvious how to allow "active monitoring" in Windows 10 but it was at least available when one did find it. [Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Sound/[Playback tab]/

  2. Audio stuttering/buzzing and storport.sys high dpc latency

I've only had this audio issue for a few weeks already after I did a custom windows 10 install bc of a previous problem. I've also posted twice about this but no one has helped me yet. I'll post the following possible solutions and suggestions that
I've already done to avoid repeated answers

I did: audio troubleshooter, uninstalled then reinstalled audio drivers, disabled audio enhancements and tried different audio quality under the advanced tab.

After more searching online I tried using DPC Latency Checker (and then LatencyMon to be more detailed) since I read that having high dpc latency can cause problems with real time audio among other things. Apparently
storport.sys is the problem? I literally just have basic knowledge about anything regarding this kind of stuff and I don't have any clue on how to fix this so I just hope someone can help me and give me steps by steps suggestions on how I can solve this. my
audio has just been driving me crazy with those stuttering sounds and I don't want it to worsen.

I would also like to know if having
    Ricoh SD/MMC Host Controller
and nothing else aside from that, under
    IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
, is okay and won't cause problems?

please, I hope someone can help and answer this time around!

  3. Real time audio : High latency

I am at my wit's end here and need help. I just bought a new Dell Inspiron 5570 laptop, 64 bit system, x64 based i7 7500 cpu 2.7 ghz 2.9 ghz, 16 gb ram, 1 tb hd running win 10. Despite being powerful enough It can't process real time audio. I have tried
every optimization possible. I use Native Instrument's Traktor 3, a professional dj software, together with their A6 audio interfase (asio) with an external mixer and a x1 mk ii controller.

My latencymon test results are critical as I have 3 drivers driving me crazy, my values indicate spikes that exceeds 1ms, foremost these are a) wdf01000.sys =2.0 ms, b) DPC results are high as well, c) acpi.sys= 1.0 ms.

In order for my laptop to effectively process audio in real time, the values indicated above need to be much lower than 1 millisecond. The lower the better.

I wrote NI tech support and they recommended me getting in touch with Dell but have yet to wait for their reply.

I do have an older dell laptop Latitude E E6430 with only 6 gb ram and i5 processor, less powerfull bit it can handle real time audio processing when running traktor 2, which I use in the

Real Time Audio Monitoring without latency in W11 - loss of control available in W10 to...

Serious Bluetooth issues after updating to W11 from W10

    Windows 11 21H2 updated from Windows 10

on an HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop i7-9700

In W10, I had no trouble with Bluetooth

After Update to W11 = (major) Bluetooth Issues

Bluetooth devices all get easily recognised and connected to W11

(W11 shows the device is connected = and the device shows it is connected)

However, this is where the issues start:

    Problem 1

    There is no sound!

= To get a sound I have to disconnect and remove the device from W11 list = and then reconnect = then I get sound through device = BUT:

    Problem 2

The sound is always FULL VOLUME

    Solutions tried:

I have tried (several times) uninstalling drivers and after a new start, Windows 11 has reinstalled drivers:

Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI) (10.0.22000.1)

    Realtek Bluetooth 4.2 Adapter (1.8.1037.3005)

    Realtek(R) Audio (6.0.9163.1)

I have also uninstalled audio drivers and reinstalled (several times)

    Other solutions tried:

    1. I have tried setting the sound to a low value = restarting computer = still full volume (tried several+ times)
    2. I have tried setting the sound to a low value = removing the device from the list = reconnecting OR = first restarting the computer
    3. Tried many variations of above
= always full or nearly full volume

Another incident I got with this:

One time it appeared to have worked = volume was at previous set low volume = I thought it was fixed = listened to music (sound was low but I had some doubt about the quality of sound) = after about three songs the next song was slightly louder (but not much) but because I was listening with headphones, I wanted to turn it down just one setting = pressed the minus key to turn down one setting = as soon as I pressed the minus button it sprang to full volume (damaging my ears)

I have run DISM / RestoreHealth to make sure there is no system corruption

I have had to stop using Bluetooth devices as I cannot find and resolve problem.

(I have to say that I am also not that happy with the audio sound since updating to W11 = it is too variable when using over browser = sometimes the sound is as good as it was in W10 = but often I have to turn it real high to hear properly)
