Windows 10: Really Angry about this. Can't reauthorize my DIGITALLY STORED copy of Windows after...

Recently did a hardware change. Same motherboard type, an MSI Z97 Gaming 5 was replaced because the old one had bent CPU pins. Upgraded my i5 to the i7 k series chip which is the fastest one for that generation of motherboard. LGA 1150 and added two sticks of memory for a total of 32 GB. Hook everything back up and after finally dealing with some bios issues and reconfigurations I boot into my same hard drive and am informed that my copy of Windows needs authorization. No problem, try using my Windows 10 key and it refuses to reauthorize. Okay fine, do some digging on the site and find

Wait, but have you done the whole step-by-step guide described in the OP? DDL/DTS isn't supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 either, unless if you do the steps listed there.

Method 1:

I suggest you run the Windows Store app troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:

  Press Windows Key + X.
  
• 
  Click on Control Panel.

  Select Troubleshooting.

  On the left pane, click on View All.

  Click on Windows Store apps to run the troubleshooter.
  

Method 2:

If the issue persist, I suggest you to reset Windows Store cache and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key+ R.
• Type wsreset.exe and hit
  Enter.
