Windows 10: Really annoying audio jack issues, how to fix?

I've been having issues with my audio jacks for a long time. My USB headphones finally gave out the drowning sounds after a long time and I bought a new pair, this time with the standard 2 3.5mm cords. The mic works fine, but the output won't work. This might be related to another incident where some 3.5mm heads broke off and got stuck in my front cover jacks I disabled them but they might be causing issues. I've tried:- Reinstalling drivers- Disabling sound enhancements- Editing the registry to disable the front cover jacks- Cleaning my headphone jack- Trying to install the Realtek drivers

Headphone Jack Splitter Fix?

Hi,

Can you please is the Microphone is listed in the device manager after you connected to jack or not.

Step 1:

Go to Device Manager & expand Audio Inputs and Outputs

Step 2:

If Microphone is listed Select Microphone and right-click then select Enable Device

Let me know the status after performing the above.

Hi,

Windows allows disabling of a certain port if you want to or if you need to. To disable a headphone or speaker audio jack, kindly follow these steps:

• Right-click the Sound or Volume icon on the lower-left side of your screen.
• Select Playback devices.
• Right-click on the playback device that you want to disable and click
  Disable.

To disable a microphone jack:

• Right-click the Sound or Volume icon on the lower-left side of your screen.
• Select Recording devices.
• Right-click on the recording device that you want to disable and click
  Disable.

Also, we recommend taking your PC to a technician for the removal of the audio jack that is stuck so that, you'll be able to use the port again.
