    Really confusing problem with my drivers


    This is going to be confusing and long, so buckle up your seats.Underlined: software and OS Discord not includedBold: drivesRed: new C driveGreen: old C driveLaptop is Asus N580VD i7-770HQ, gtx 1050 + intel hd 630 graphics, 16gb ramI have 4 total drivers right now, which are:C: an M.2 sata driver 128gb, original Windows 10 home location, with the starting letters HF in device name have no idea what it is since i have a laptop and it has some cover above it, which i dont want to take offE: a 1TB hdd only thing i see on it is a Seagate logoD: an external, usb connected 1TB Toshiba port

    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused Really confusing problem with my drivers :confused:

    Realtek driver confusion

    After a clean install i am in the process of installing drivers on my system but i am a bit confused by Realtek audio drivers

    My motherboard (Asus B360M-K Prime) has Realtek HD Audio onboard.
    When i received my MC (pre-built and preinstalled with Win 10) it had an loudspeaker icon in the taskbar. From this icon I could acces Realtek HD Audio Manager or configuration panel). In device manager the sound device was listed as "Realtek High Definition Audio".

    After the clean install i downloaded the latest drivers for my motherboard but the autio driver only installs a basic driver (listed in device manager as Realtek Audio, i.e. not High Definition) and i no longer have the icon in taskbar.

    I did some searching on the internet and i really got confused: there are Realtek HDA and UAD drivers. What is the difference?
    Is it possible to download Asus Realtek drivers that are High Definition and contain the Realtek control-panel?

    really weird issues(maybe hardware and software both) make me really confused

    step 1 have you disabled all the power saving options on your machine?
    step 2. have you updated all your drivers?
