Windows 10: REALLY need help with my network… but that’s just the beginning of my problem

So I have 2 really bad problems I needed/need help with which I’ll post the link to in a bit but by trying to fix those problems I uninstalled AdBlock I think that’s what it was and ever since it showed my connections to the family network was fine but no matter what I tried NOTHING on the computer could access the internet! I tried disabling all kinds of protections, reinstalled that app but no luck. Sooo I thought maybe it was a drivers issues so I went to another computer and downloaded 3 executables for wan/network/ ect. I installed these and now my network adapter isn’t working no matte

Not sure where to begin

I suggest you perform a clean installation of Windows 10 but if you want to troubleshoot install latest version of network card driver from network card manufacturer website.

If installing latest version of network card driver on Windows 10, you can also use the "Network reset" feature to fix Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity problems after installing an update or at any time that you can't connect to the network.

To reset the network adapters on your device, use these steps:

1. Open Settings.
2. Click on Network & Internet.
3. Click on Status.
4. Under the "Change your network settings" section, click the Network reset option.
5. Click the Reset now button.

Setting up the Zyxel P330W router as a wireless bridge

This may help its a guide on connecting to a WRT54g. I think if you configure it to these steps it should work. If not let me know. Ill email my buddy who knows a lot about Apple/windows based networking.

 

Network Adapter PROBLEM

Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

First Verify if the WLAN service is started and set to automatic, if the WLAN service is stopped, I would suggest you to start the service and put it to automatic.

Step 1: Please follow the steps to
start the WLAN service.

• 
  Click on Start, type in services.msc
  and press Enter.
  
• 
  Select WLAN Autoconfig from the list, Right click
  properties.
  
• 
  Change the startup type to Automatic.
  
• 
  Click on Start button.
  
• 
  Click on Apply, Ok.
  

Restart the computer and verify if it works.

Also check if all the dependencies are also running. Try the steps to check Dependencies.

• 
  Right-click on WLAN Autoconfig and select Properties.
  
• 
  Click on Dependencies, you will find all the dependency services under box labeled this service depends on the following system components.
  

Step 2: Run an inbuilt Network troubleshooter.

• 
  Press Windows + X key and select
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Type troubleshooting and select troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on view all on the left pane and select
  Network adapter.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen steps and check.
