Windows 10: Really slow update on a newly installed Windows 10

Hi,


After I installed my Windows 10 and connected to the internet, I downloaded Driver Easy to help update all the drivers. All the drivers had been successfully updated except the one for my GTX 1070. I downloaded the file straight from MSI(my GPU is from MSI) and NVIDIA but both said that my version of Windows were not compatible. I search online and they told me to update windows 10 so I went to see the updates. I waited half a day for the update to reach 3%. I uninstalled the graphics driver using a tool called DDU and did a clean wipe then used the driver updater from NVIDIA to attempt the update again. But once again, it says my windows were not compatible. I went to check on the update again and once again it was very very slow. I completely reinstalled the windows 10 however it still does not work.


Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could solve this problem please?

New install Windows 10 (issue solved)

It's good that you're not experiencing any issues. Unfortunately many folks are, a quick Google search will show the same info im offering the OP.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
