    Really weird wifi problems.

Alright so I have been getting this weird issue with packet loss. Some times when I am connected to my Wi-Fi I get 1-30 mbps but my normal is 200+ upload and download. But that is only 1 part of the problem the other problem is packet loss for no reason at all and some times when I reconnect rarely it has the 200 mbps + no packet loss and when I restart my pc it goes back to having packet loss. This is a really weird issue and I did every thing I could, watched hours of videos and, all that I know it might be a windows 10 problem and I cant update to windows 11 because I don't have a tpm 2.0 c

    :)

Really weird problem with my PC.

not to over-rule what the other people have suggested because i feel rude to butt in after they've made their suggestions, but i feel theres a simple way to narrow this down:

step 1: figure out if its software or hardware. try safe mode, or a different OS on a different hard drive (bootable linux on USB, for example). make sure you reproduce the initial problems thoroughly, such as waiting overnight to test it.

    2. if you know its software, uninstall non-essential progrems - especially nortons, its garbage. use MSconfig to adjust startup items and slim things down, see if the problem goes away.

    3. if its hardware, first underclock your CPU and RAM. even if the PSU is at fault, lowering the power used by the system could make it completely stable - predicatble crashes tend to lean away from CPU or ram being the culprit, with something operating on a 'curve' such as PSU's as they heat up - being more likely with your current descriptions.

When will the wifi connectivity problems be solved?

OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?

Wifi and browser problems with windows 10

I'll tell you how I fixed an identical problem on a ASUS laptop that had run perfectly on Windows 7 and ran well on W10 from January until the Anniversary update in early August. I tried everything I found on this forum and two others. Nothing worked. The last thing someone suggested was disabling the adapter and using a WiFi dongle. Problem continued. Nobody suggested changing the wireless network adapter. I bought and installed an Intel 7260 WiFi card and just used the driver which was downloaded on the reboot after the install. All problems solved!!

I must have wasted two months reading and trying everything. Even the manufacturer support inferred I needed a new machine though they sent me a Windows 8.1 driver to try, with the same result.

I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to determine if they white list any cards and see if they have suggestions for a compatible card. They may want you to buy another laptop but if the cards aren't white listed, a simple card swap to one compatible with Windows 10 seems to be the answer.
