Windows 10: Realtek Audio Console Connector Retasking disappeared

Hello, I'm currently using a Lenovo Legion 5 gaming laptopSo, I've encountered some problems with using the Realtek Audio Console recently. when I plug my external mic in my Laptop in the 3.5mm jack it does not show in the microphone tab instead it shows as a speaker I opened the Realtek Audio Console and there under retasking section microphone is not showing.I've Reinstalled the Realtek Audio Console and Drivers but it's not showing the option

Hello I'm currently using an ASUS TUF Gaming F15 laptop

So I've encountered some problems with using the Realtek Audio Console recently.
For the past month, I've encountered the "Can not connect to RPC service" error twice. My solution was to just reinstall the audio drivers. For the first time it happened, I was able to get the Realtek Audio Console working properly. For the second time, some problems appeared.

Originally, plugging in a device on the audio jack would prompt a Connector Retasking window for Headphone, Headset, Mic In, etc; but this time I'm just stuck with Headphones. Even if I plug in a headset or a mic, it still shows headphones. I don't understand how this happened since I did the same thing as last time (uninstall and reinstall the Realtek HD Driver). Where did Connector Retasking go?

I already reinstalled everything I could think of but to no avail.

A solution would be welcome. If possible, I also wanna know how could I avoid the "Can not connect to RPC service" error in the future cause 2 times in the past month is not a good sign.

Realtek Audio Console No Connector Retasking Option

Hi I'm using a Legion Y540 laptop running on Windows 11 and I have issues with Realtek Audio Console.

I wanted to use the port on my laptop as a line-in (mic-in) but there's no option for Connector Retasking with my Realtek Audio Console. It only shows headphones for me and although my port works just fine if I plugged a mic on it, it doesn't work when I try to get sound from my mixer. My friend who's using an ASUS laptop running on windows 10 has this option on his laptop and I was able to successfully get sound from my mixer through setting his port as a mic-in.

I've tried uninstalling my drivers, reverting to old versions of the drivers, installing the drivers from my manufacturer and also drivers from Realtek but have had no success. I've never remembered seeing the popup with my laptop before so I'm suspecting that maybe my hardware doesn't support that option but I have no way to confirm this, I'm just assuming that I should have this as I have a later and higher spec'd laptop than my friend.
