Windows 10: Realtek Audio Device isn't even picking up sound

I upgraded my motherboard and cpu today and right after that, I installed the Realtek drivers it told me to download from the Support > Download page on AsRock. I downloaded it and still had no sound. It shows as "RealtekAudio" in device manager, and when I play sound on youtube or anything, it doesn't pick up with the device. Things I've tried: Reinstalling, Updating Driver. Going back in forth of HD audio and Ac97 in the BIOS. Changing audio cables in my PC. Both front and rear audio Jacks. The list goes on, but that's before I realized that it is the drivers fault and not my PC's. Righ

Muted mic picking up sound in game

The issue could be because of the internal mic picking up sound even when the external device is pluuged in. If you have the RealTek HD Audi Manager installed on the machine, I would suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works for
you.

• Open RealTek HD Audio Manager and go to the
  Advanced tab.
  
• Check the boxes Separate all input jacks as independent input devices
  and Mute the internal output device, when external headphone is plugged in,
  and hit OK.
  
• Exit RealTek HD Audio Manager, restart the machine and see if the issue persists.

Realtek High-Definition Audio Device vs Realtek Audio

When I go to Device Manager > Sound Video and Game controllers my Dell XPS 8940 has the Realtek Audio driver (version 6.0.9228.1, 8/24/2021) installed. If I click Update driver > Browse my computer for Drivers > Let me pick from a list . . ., two "models" are listed under compatible hardware: High Definition Audio Device (HDAD) and Realtek Audio. When I try to use the HDAD, Windows (11) warns me that "Installing this driver is not recommended because Windows cannot verify that it is compatible with your hardware. Et cetera.

Do I NOT have an HDAD in my computer?

Everyone that post ids, need just do these steps and you will be good. I kinda tired of keep on uploading the inf. file

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
additional if you want dts audio and others, install it now before next step.
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.
