Windows 10: Realtek Audio Drivers Randomly Broken - No Fix Working

My microphone had randomly stopped working after trying to have a voice call I realized that windows had detected 0 sound coming from my microphone, yet my headphones were working completely fine.
After 6 hours of attempting to fix a driver issue that has caused me a massive headache I finally decided to ask you friendly people on how to exactly fix this issue that only a complete and fresh reinstall of LTSC had only fixed momentarily, a short lived victory as a event message marked the downfall. I have reinstalled Realtek Audio drivers four times, once through compatibility mode as well.

My motherboard is a MSI B350 PC Mate, which is where I had installed the linked drivers twice from the link: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/b350-pc-mate#down-driver&Win10%2064, I had also directly installed the drivers linked through the Realtek website twice as well, to no avail.

Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1462FA34&REV_1003\5&1a9a71d6&0&0001 requires further installation.
-- Line above is the driver event message for when I presume stuff starts to break down, extensive searching and googling

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.

 

Realtek HD Audio Drivers missing after installing driver update for AMD Graphics Card

I'd suppose Realtek USB 2.0 Audio is what you need. Try to install drivers manually form the list system suggests.

And may be the soundcard is partially broken.
