Windows 10: realtek bluetooth adapter disable specific driver version

Hi,I have constant problems with Realtek bluetooth adapter driver, specifically with version 1.9.1051.3009. With this version installed, my bluetooth keyboard Logitech K860 doesn't connect. It connects for 5 seconds and disconnects immediately. When I roll back this driver to version 1.8.1039.3000, it works perfectly. Problem is, that the troublemaking version keeps being installed back. How can I disable updates of this specific version?

It does not see them because that is your list of hidden updates. You can simply check the ones you want to go thru and the next Windows Update will see them but auto install, so be careful if you don't actually want them.

Best thing to do and not screw up the list of Hidden Updates you already have, is go to Device Manager (Win+X), expand Bluetooth to see installed drivers. Then r-click the driver/Update Driver Software/Search automatically ... If there is a newer one, it will auto install. Test, if not happy roll back by doing same steps except click Properties and use roll back option. Good Luck

 

Realtek Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter drivers

Thank you for your response.
I have tried the steps you rcommended and I continue to have
the same issue.

1) Device Manager - Uninstalled Realtek Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter

2) Restarted PC
3) All drivers are up to date, yet the issue remains that the
only device affected is the wireless headphone (Cowin E-7),
I lose the sound, although it appears in Bluetooth devices,
and is replaced by "speakers."
4) I have to reload the minidisk for the Realtel Bluetooth 5.0
Adapter to load the Realtek drivers back on and re-install Realtek
Bluetooth. After this is complete the wireles headphones
work well.

Guess I shall ignore any updates, since headphones work well
without updates.

Should you have any other resolution, please let me know.

Hello,

Running Windows 10 version 21H2 - See attached print image for system specs.





Two months ago I purchased a new USB Bluetooth Dongle

Bluetooth 5.0+EDR and Installed the Realtek Drivers.



The problem I have is with my wireless headphone.

Every time Windows updates the Realtek Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter and

I reboot the desktop PC, the sound on my wireless headphone is gone.

To get the sound back, I have to reload the drivers from the Realtek

Buetooth mini disk. And things are fine, yet I show that I still have

a Realtek Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter to be updated.



Any help to isolate what the problem is would be appreciated.
