Windows 10: realtek drivers not playing sound out of my speakers on my laptop.

realtek drivers not playing sound out of my speakers on my laptop... everything works when i connect my headphones. I've tried uninstalling the drivers from device manager. I've tried installing the drivers form realteks website as well as from lenovos driver website for my laptop.

no sound plays through internal speakers

I cannot get any sound to play through the internal speakers of my laptop. It did play previously. The speaker in the task bar has a red and white x and the trouble shooter says no speakers headphones plugged in. When I pull up the info on sound it lists
its location at HDMI port. Suggestions?

 

No Sound through laptop speakers

Hi all, hopefully this is a simple issue.

I have a Lenovo Yoga 11e laptop. This past Friday, it froze like it crashed, then rebooted due to an error. Ever since, there has been no sound from the internal speakers or through headphones. For some reason a bluetooth speaker will work, but nothing
onboard.

Here are the troubleshooting steps I have tried

-Ensured nothing is muted or disabled. The speaker are the default sound devices

-Re-installing the Realtek High Definition Audio Drivers

-Uninstalled the speaker drivers entirely

-Installed the latest Realtek Drivers from Realtek's site

-I even did a destructive restore

None of the above steps solved anything. I still can only get sound from the bluetooth speaker. Any additional insight would be greatly appreciated.

i have been going nuts trying to fix this.

my laptop speaker has not worked and I have tried all the following steps:

1. reinstall audio drive
   
2. update to the latest audio driver
   
3. rollback audio driver
   
4. tested different sound formats
   
5. checked to see if realtek r is set to default
   
6. checked to see if realtek r sound was enabled
   
7. checked to see if the sound was muted
   
8. troubleshooting
   
9. turning off audio enhancements
   
10. restarting.
    

this has been a small problem, from time to time the speakers might work, but a lot of the time it doesn't.

when I try to play a game or watch a youtube video, there is no sound, yet the speaker icon depicts that it is fine.

when I use the settings to test sound, the sound bar shows that there is sound but there is no sound coming from the speakers, I don't

know if this is a hardware problem, but I have tried researching and nothing has worked.

if you think there is a solution, please help.
