Windows 10: Realtek Gaming 2.5Gbe Family Controller Download Speeds Capped and Slowed

Hello, I've recently encountered an issue with slow download speeds over Ethernet. My broadband package allows speeds of around 320Mbps, which I've been using at it's maximum for around two years with no issues. Over the last few weeks, however, my speeds seem to have been randomly capped at anywhere between 70-100Mbps.At first I could solve this issue by unplugging and re inserting the Ethernet cable, but that no longer seems to work. I've tried all common fixes including ensuring all drivers are up to date, as well as rolling back the adapter drivers, configuring the "Speed and Duplex" setti

Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller very slow upload speed problem

This worked for me:

• Open Device Manager
• Open Network adapters
• Right-click on Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, select Properties
• Click on Advanced tab.
• Disable everything except for Flow Control
• Click OK

After doing that, my upload speed increased from 0.3MB/S to 3.60MB/S on internet speed test.

Since few days I had a slow internet problem. After diagnostic I find that the problem was the upload speed for my Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller upload problem. Speed Test give me 16ms ping, 32 mb/s download speed and 0.00 mb/s speed. I test my modem
and router with another computer and I have 10 mb/s upload speed on the other computer.

I've upgrade the driver to the last version from realtek site (to version 10.3.723.2015) but it didn't solve the problem.

My computer is a HP H8 1020

Greg, please just don't go to Bing, search for "slow internet speed windows 10" and post the 10 first websites here, my friend. The suggestions on these websites has nothing to do with my issue.

If you don't know what can cap a download speed on Windows (which is not a signal or connection issue), please leave the question to another expert.
